The objective of this study is to examine the rheological properties of bentonite suspensions with additives. We worked on conducting a literature review and provide an example of a study on the influence of the addition of polymers (carboxymethyl cellulose and xanthan), with the aim of highlighting the influence of these polymers on the rheological behavior of bentonite suspensions that are considered as a crucial component of water-based drilling mud.en_US
