Abstract: This graduation project focuses on the development and implementation of a predictive main- tenance plan combined with a remote control system for submersible pumps used in industrial electrical systems. The study begins with a comprehensive overview of pumping technologies and maintenance strategies, highlighting the critical role of reliable pump operation in various industries. Building on this, an optimized maintenance strategy is proposed, integrating pre- ventive and predictive approaches to reduce unplanned downtime. The system’s core is based on an Arduino microcontroller, equipped with electrical and thermal sensors and connected via the SIM800L GSM module for real-time monitoring and control. The implementation is tailo- red to submersible pumps and tested through a functional prototype. The results demonstrate the effectiveness, scalability, and cost-efficiency of the system. This work provides a promising foundation for integrating IoT-based smart maintenance solutions in industrial environments.
